BinksSpaces

About

Built by a DJ who needed a room.

Binks Spaces started on the other side of the booking request, as a DJ scrambling to find a room with actual CDJs, monitors that didn't buzz, and a host who'd pick up the phone. Most listings were vague, most gear lists were guesses, and the good rooms usually weren't listed anywhere at all.

So we opened one ourselves: The Space, a real room in Salt Lake City built the way DJs actually want a room built. Then we built the marketplace we wished existed everywhere else: search by the exact gear you need, real hosts, real availability, no five-thread DM chain just to find out if a room's free Tuesday.

Studio owners set their own hours and rates and keep 85% of every booking. We handle discovery, scheduling, and payments so both sides can focus on the work, whether that's a DJ set, a full band, or a podcast.

The name comes from “Binks' Sake,” the song the crew in One Piece sings when they need to remember why they set out in the first place — not for wherever the map ends, but for the singing itself, together, on the way there. That's the trade we're building toward: less time spent hunting for a room, more time actually in one, making something with the people who showed up.
